Labquality is organizing an EQA scheme for SARS-CoV-2 detection. The new EQA scheme includes individual samples for both molecular diagnostics as well as for serological testing. The participants can choose to order both products or just one product according to their needs. The first EQA round will be a pilot survey and it is scheduled for week 22. Pilot round is sold out (April 30, 2020), but registration to September and November rounds are open.
SARS-CoV-2 Program
- 5676 SARS-CoV-2, nucleic acid detection
Molecular diagnostics: 2-3 SARS-CoV-2 whole-genome EQA samples (pos and neg) for nucleic acid amplification tests for SARS-CoV-2 detection. - 5677 SARS-CoV-2, antibody detection
Serological testing: 2-3 Anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgA/IgG/IgM EQA samples (pos and neg) for serological assays for SARS-CoV-2 antibody detection.
